Balpreet Singh Khatra is an associate of the firm. He was called to the bar of British Columbia in 2020. He has appeared and assisted counsel in the Supreme Court of British Columbia, the British Columbia Court of Appeal and the Provincial Court of British Columbia.

Balpreet practices primarily in commercial litigation. He has experience with debt collection, foreclosures, contract disputes, partnership and shareholder disputes, insurance litigation, civil fraud proceedings, and bankruptcy and insolvency matters. He often represents parties involved in real estate and construction related litigation, including developers, contractors, vendors, and purchasers.

Balpreet also assists clients with commercial transactions, including the purchase and sale of businesses and real estate, drafting and reviewing commercial agreements (including leases), and acting as corporate counsel for privately-held companies.

For his legal education, Balpreet attended the University of Birmingham in the United Kingdom and the Peter A. Allard School of Law at the University of British Columbia, where he obtained his LL.B. (Honours) and LL.M. (Common Law) degrees.  Prior to law school, he attended the Beedie School of Business at Simon Fraser University, where he obtained his BBA (Honours), with specializations in Finance and Human Resources Management.
